Everyone wore smiles.. the kind of smiles where your cheeks start to hurt after a while. 

Interactions between Jhonavie and Scott are rooted deeply in kindness and compassion. They show their love not only with smiles and hugs, but also with a desire to listen and learn from whoever is in their presence. 

The morning at Beacon Hill was graced with sun and autumnal air, and closest friends and family had all hands on deck to prepare for the ceremony and reception. Everyone was helping, and although there was lots of scuttling and running back-and-forth, no one was anxious. Each person in attendance was grounded and intentional with every movement.

Jhonavie and Scott thanked their family members before exchanging vows, and a raw moment was spent to honor Jhonavie’s mother. The ceremony, more than anything else, was a way to observe the family members that have uplifted and supported Jhonavie and Scott throughout their relationship.

A truly beautiful, emotional, and inspirational day. My camera has never captured so many giant smiles. Thank you so much, Jhonavie and Scott, for allowing me to witness it all.
