The clouds lingered and the rain came. Nobody minded. The celebration was too special and the smiles too contagious to allow the weather to cause distress. In fact, people were dancing in it.

Generations of family interacted with one another in a way that ran deeper than verbal communication. This family speaks their own language through warm hugs, deep laughs, and a sense of strong support that radiates from every exchange.

Spencer’s grandfather, Gordon, led their ceremony with a soft but grounded voice, and during that moment, the rain became a miracle falling from the sky that was referenced in the officiation.
