Trillium Lake Wedding

Trillium Lake wedding in Mount Hood National Forest

Mount Hood glimmered as she stood tall behind Trillium Lake during Erin and Ryan’s wedding.

Erin and Ryan have spent their lives wandering through trees and forests, and they journey through the outdoors with a sense of adventure and respect. Trillium Lake was the perfect place for them to exchange vows, and closest friends leaned in with support and love as Erin and Ryan made lifelong promises to one another.

After their first kiss as husband and wife, the lake erupted in cheers from boaters, paddle boarders, and sun bathers. Despite a difficult year, everyone seems to find joy in love, and this wedding ceremony cast a net of happiness across the entire lake and all the way up to the mountain.

Ryan had one request for photos— he wanted to venture onto the forest floor in a space that hadn’t been covered by human trails or tracks. It was really important to him that he remain grounded with Erin on their wedding day both spiritually and physically, and each step these two took throughout the day was one with intention.

Thank you so much, Erin and Ryan, for allowing my cameras to be there to capture these beautiful moments.
