Lauren and Mike are completely at ease in the presence of one another. It’s almost as if any sort of stress, tension, frustration completely melts away, and when they meet up with one another, their interactions and banter lead to laughter and hugs. It’s a chemistry that’s hard to put into words, but once you see it, you know how special it is.
Lauren prepared for her wedding in her childhood home, and she enjoyed a relaxing morning with her parents, brothers, and kitty. It was a time for all of them to ground themselves in the one thing that lies at the center of their hearts: family.
Their wedding took place in a beautiful, industrial building in the heart of Portland, and the Redd on Salmon provided a cozy, moody backdrop for Lauren and Mike as they exchanged vows. Live music from a jazz trio trilled over the hum of excited conversation, and friends and family were treated to a night of dancing, laughing, and singing.
These two are a true inspiration. They don’t dwell on the small details, rather they place their time and energy into the part of life that is much bigger than the individual. Lauren and Mike have a supportive community that has uplifted them throughout their lives, and there’s no doubt that these two will continue to reinforce their family ties. Thank you two so much for allowing us to capture these special moments.

The Redd on Salmon Capacity: The main hall can accommodate weddings of up to 450 guests for seated dining service or 670 for a cocktail reception. The plaza is available for seated weddings of 600.
